POLICY - UPDATE JANUARY 2025

Riverstone Thai Massage Therapy kindly requests you review and adhere to the following policies:

  • Online or manual bookings required the client to confirm the appointment by clicking the text massage or email received and enter your credit card details. If your appointment is not confirmed especially for couples, the appointment/s may be cancelled. 

  • Smart pricing returns - 10% discount on all services from 10am till 6pm every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 31 March 2025. This offer excludes lash extensions and services that are eligible for health insurance claims.  

  • Credit card details are encrypted and secure on the fresha platform and Riverstone Thai Massage Therapy does not have access to your credit card details. 

  • Cost Price Index (CPI) - On 1 February 2025 the CPI will apply to the Remedial Massage services and this price increase will absorb the surcharge fees previously charged for appointments after 8pm. If a certified remedial therapist is requested than the $5 surcharge fee remains in affect. 

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made free of charge up to two hours before the appointment. Cancellations made within two hours will incur a 30% charge of the service price. No-shows will be charged 50% of the service price. 

  • Health Insurance Claims: We do not support online health insurance claims. Only remedial massage services are eligible for health insurance claims, and if you have booked non-eligible service online, you can discuss with the treating remedial massage therapist to ensure the remedial massage is the correct service to be provided. Provider details will be included at the bottom of the receipt only after processing the physical or digital health card on our HICAPS terminal. The treatment plan must be completed with the Massage Therapist prior to service to be eligible for health fund claims. Please note that if a claim is processed online and rejected by your health fund provider, Riverstone Thai Massage Therapy will not be held responsible or reimbursement any costs.

  • When using your health fund provider, it is a requirement by the regulators to have the exact details as stated on the health fund card as to the receipt and the treatment record. As this information is sensitive, your data is only accessible to our employees, health fund providers, and regulators. Our software providers use encryptions to help protect the data, and is only stored on secure sites.   

  • Promotions & Packages: Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offer. Upgrades, such as hot stones, hot oil, or cupping are inclusive and durations are not applicable. Credits for these items with packages or promos, if not desired by the clients will not be applied. Promotions cannot be purchased through gift cards, or memberships and are not redeemable for cash.

  • Gift cards cannot be purchased through health insurance companies. 

  • Gift cards have a 12-month expiry from the date of purchase and will not be extended if expired.

  • Bank or terminal fees - For Eftpos payments, users accept any applicable fees.

  • Riverstone Thai Massage Therapy reserves the right to alter, change, extend, or cancel promotions at any time without notice.

  • Bullying & Harassment - Providing a respectful workplace for all employees. Workplace bullying and harassment is unacceptable and a risk to health and safety because it may affect the mental and physical health of workers.

  • Sexual harassment in the workplace - To be sexual harassment, it has to be reasonable to expect that there is a possibility that the worker being sexually harassed would be offended, humiliated or intimidated. Some forms of sexual harassment can also be considered bullying if the behaviour is repeated or continuous. But unlike bullying, sexual harassment does not need to be continuous or repeated behaviour, it can be a one-off event. There is also no need to establish a risk to health and safety. 

  • Discrimination in the workplace - Bullying is different from discrimination. The Fair Work Act prohibits an employer from taking adverse action against an employee for discriminatory reasons, including their sex, race, religion or gender. Adverse action can include firing or demoting someone. Bullying doesn't have to be related to a person’s or group's characteristics. Adverse action doesn’t have to have happened for bullying to occur.
